Two of the funniest movie stars in Hollywood have teamed up in a 2013 Super Bowl ad for Apple rival Samsung.
Oh yeah and they also got Miami Heat star LeBron James to join them for a cameo.
Samsung has made big strides in the smart phone market over the last year but they are also leaving their mark on the advertising industry. Their recent ad mocking people standing in line for the latest iPhone was a big hit on the internet.
Now Samsung is turning its attention to the Super Bowl in an effort to keep up the company’s forward momentum. Even the shortest of Super Bowl commercials cost a fortune so Samsung is showing they mean business by not only coughing up the coin to advertise during the big game, they are also shelling out the bucks for three very big celebrities in their ad. There is a lot of footage here and we are unlikely to see more than 30 seconds or a minute of it tonight but more and more advertisers are showing the highlights during the game while promising a longer version of the commercial online.
