Star recording artist Beyonce put on a great halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII that included a reunion with her former group Destiny’s Child and resulted in no wardrobe malfunctions.
Following Beyonce’s halftime performance, the lights went out at the Superdome.
There are reports that power went out in the stadium three times during Beyonce’s rehearsals, but the league is denying any rumors that the singer’s show had anything to do with the 34-minute power outage.
Beyonce addressed the blackout following her performance and she was just happy that her show was able to go on without any issue.
“It’s a live television show, it’s the biggest show in America,” Beyonce said after her performance. “There’s so many things that could happen and God was on my side, so I’m very, very happy that it went well and the power went out after.”
Beyonce also announced after her show that she will be hitting the road with “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” this spring. The tour is set to kickoff on March 15 and run through April 3.
