While teams begin to put themselves in position to make some moves by the NBA trade deadline, one of those teams that is making some headlines for their trade inquiries is the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are looking to add another piece to their championship puzzle as they prepare for a playoff push.
The man that they are showing interest in is Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett.

In order for any trade to go through, Garnett, who has a no trade clause, would have to agree to be traded to the Clippers. If he was not interested in the move to Los Angeles, then the interest from either side wouldn’t matter one bit.
Boston needs to decide if they are ready to blow up the roster now that Rajon Rondo is done for the season. If they decide before the deadline that it is in the team’s best interest to build for the future, they will likely look to move both Garnett and Paul Pierce.
