J.R. Smith Airballs A Free Throw Against The Pistons, Evokes Cheers From The Crowd (VIDEO)

Luckily for JR Smith, the New York Knicks were playing in the Madison Square Garden when his first of two free throws couldn’t even reach the net. Luckily for the Knicks, that 2nd quarter miss would prove to be inconsequential as New York steam-rolled over the Pistons in Jose Calderon’s first game with Detroit.

The part time basketball player, part time comedian evoked laughter and cheers from teammates and the crowd after this incident. Better than all of that though was head coach Mike Woodson’s flabbergasted reaction.
