The four-star defensive lineman from Muscle Shoals High School in Alabama announced his decision on National Signing Day. The one-time Auburn Tigers recruit announced that he will be staying in state and committing to the two-time defending champion Alabama Crimson Tide.
The defensive lineman joins Reuben Foster as former Auburn recruits to bolt for Tuscaloosa.
Liner joins the two-time defending national champs and helps them reload along the defensive front.
Rivals.com considers the 6-foot-2, 274-pound Liner the third-rated player in the state of Alabama. Liner has the athleticism and versatility to play both defensive end and defensive tackle. It is his scheme versatility that helped Liner generate attention.
Liner is a perfect fit in Alabama’s multiple front defense.
