Laquon Treadwell Signs National Letter of Intent, Officially an Ole Miss Rebel

It comes as no surprise, but the Ole Miss Rebels continue to roll in the five-star recruits. Just over an hour after number one prospect Robert Nkemdiche committed to the Rebels, the top wide receiver Laquon Treadwell has officially committed to the program after signing his National Letter of Intent Wednesday morning.

Treadwell had originally committed to Ole Miss at the beginning of January and stuck by his commitment. He had been very vocal throughout the process about his excitement to join the program.

I wanted to be a part of something special, the program is on the rise with the new coaching staff,” Treadwell said when he initially committed to the program. “Coach Freeze stresses love and is a very positive man. I want to be a part of returning Rebel nation to glory.”

The Crete-Monee High School star receiver is just the latest top recruit to join the Ole Miss 2013 class. It’s a good day to be a Rebel.
