Montravius Adams Commits to Auburn Tigers

The Auburn Tigers have added another stud recruit to their defensive line. The second-ranked defensive tackle in the nation, Montravius Adams, announced his decision to commit to the University of Auburn on Wednesday morning.

Adams joins five-star defensive end Carl Lawson and four-star defensive end Elijah Daniel along the Auburn defensive line.

The trio of defensive line recruits went on their official visit at Auburn together and it appears to have worked. The three top recruits gives the Tigers a serious  boost in talent on the defensive front.

Adams’ decision came down to Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and Georgia.

New Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn got his coaching start as defensive coordinator at  Hughes High School in 1991, and his eye for defensive talent is paying off for the Tigers.

The job that Malzahn has been able to do with the defensive line class is every bit as impressive as the loaded class from the Ole Miss Rebels.

It’s turning out to be a great day in Auburn.
