Fresh off of her performance of the national anthem before Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers, star recording artist Alicia Keys has a new gig in the sports world.
Keys will be moving from the gridiron to the hardwood as she is now slated to perform the halftime show at the 2013 NBA All-Star Game. The game will be held February 17 in Houston. ESPN’s Darren Rovell passed along the news:
Alicia Keys will be the NBA All-Star halftime performer. @johnlegend will sing the National Anthem.

John Legend will perform the night’s national anthem. Ne-Yo, Phillip Phillips, Ellie Goulding and Gloria Reuben are all set to perform throughout the weekend.
