The NBA is rolling out the lists of participants for All-Star Weekend in Houston, Texas. The league has already announced the fields for the Sprite Slam Dunk Competition and the Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, and now we know the participants for Saturday’s Skills Competition.
San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is set to defend his title in the event and he will be joined by an exciting class of competitors.
Included in the Skills Competition field are Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia 76ers), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Brandon Knight (Detroit Pistons), Jeff Teague (Atlanta Hawks) and Jeremy Lin (Houston Rockets.
All-Star Weekend takes place February 15th-17th in Houston, Texas. It will be interesting to see if any of this year’s participants can challenge Deron Williams’ all-time record of 25.5 seconds that he set in 2008 as a member of the Utah Jazz.
Who do you think will earn the skills competition title this year? Will Parker be able to retain his crown or will one of the league’s bright young stars steal the show? Let us know your thoughts by leaving us a note in the comments section.
