Charles Barkley Takes Shot At Alabama Players Charged With Robbery (Video)

Auburn Tigers alum Charles Barkley wore a bandage on his head while on the set of TNT’s Inside the NBA. The reason for his bandage was to mock the four Alabama Crimson Tide football players who were arrested earlier in the week for charges ranging from fraudulent use of a debit/credit card to felony theft charges. As you can tell from Barkley’s former choice of school, he couldn’t help but to take a shot at his heated rival.

“I got mugged in Tuscaloosa, Ernie, and my credit cards are missing,” Barkley said.

Here is the video of Barkley’s comments:

The three players that were charged with felony theft were banned from campus and all four players were suspended indefinitely from the team by Alabama head coach Nick Saban. Despite what Barkley may want you to believe, this is no laughing matter.

While Barkley’s comments were light-hearted and just aimed at getting a laugh, how did you take them? Were Barkley’s comments out of line or did you get a laugh from his comments like his co-hosts.
