Purdue Boilermakers defensive tackle Kawann Short has been forced out of the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine and the school’s Pro Day because of an undisclosed injury, NFL.com’s Gil Brandt reports. Short will instead hold his own personal Pro Day on March 26.

Short could potentially be selected in the first-round of April’s draft. Hopefully the injury will do nothing to slow down Short, who is highly touted because of his speed off the line and quick first step.
