Seattle Sounders Trade For Shalrie Joseph

The Seattle Sounders have taken advantage of Chivas USA ridding themselves of any non-Mexican-American players not named Dan Kennedy and made a move to bring midfielder/defender Shalrie Joseph to town.

Seattle gives up a a second-round pick in the 2014 MLS Draft in exchange for the perennial all-star.

It is being reported that the Sounders may not be down making moves just yet. There is some interest in Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins who could become the newest addition to the squad.

Sounders player Eddie Johnson already rolled out the red carpet for Joseph and welcomed him to town with this tweet:
