It’s not exactly a Josh Smith trade, but a couple of forwards have exchanged homes at the NBA trade deadline. The Charlotte Bobcats agreed to ship Hakim Warrick to the Orlando Magic for Josh McRoberts.
The trade won’t do much for fans that were hoping to have a big name player on the move at the deadline, but it is a trade worth noting.
Orlando was also involved in one of the bigger deadline deals that shipped shooting guard J.J. Redick to the Milwaukee Bucks. In the deal, Orlando received Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris and Beno Udrih. The Magic were certainly one of the most active teams during the deadline.
