Pittman only played four games this season with the Heat after being assigned to the D-league affiliated, the Souix Louis Skyforce.
The Miami Heat drafted the 6’11″ big man in the 2010 NBA draft with the 32 overall pick in the second round.
The Grizzlies will acquire the Heat’s second-round draft pick while the Heat get trade exceptions and international rights to Puerto Rican power forward, Ricky Sanchez.
Sanchez was the 32nd pick in the 2005 NBA draft but has yet to appear in an NBA game. The trade expectation came from the Grizzlies from the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade for Sam Young.
