With this afternoon’s NBA trade deadline rapidly approaching, teams are giving their final offers to the Orlando Magic for shooting guard J.J. Redick.
Around noon, it was reported that the San Antonio Spurs dropped out of the race for Redick’s services and the Chicago Bulls were no longer interested in a deal for the Magic guard, while the Milwaukee Bucks were reportedly upping the ante and making a big push for the former Duke Blue Devils star.
Now, there is growing belief that no one could end up landing Redick in a trade.
Per Ken Berger of CBS Sports, a league source familiar with the Redick negotiations believes that the highly coveted guard could stay in Orlando. That news, while highly possible, would be disappointing for NBA fans and teams that are hoping to see Redick sporting their jersey and helping their team.
There is a lot of rumors yet to be sorted out and there is no sign of them slowing down anytime soon with just a couple of hours until the deadline.
