Rumors had circulated last week that the Toronto Raptors would be interested in acquiring Phoenix Suns point guard Sebastian Telfair and it appears that they are making an aggressive push heading in to the NBA trade deadline and they are considered to be the favorite to land Telfair. Per Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski:

The move would give the Raptors another ball handler and Telfair could come at a low price. In order to land the Suns guard, Toronto would likely just need to part ways with a future draft pick. He could also pair with recently acquired Rudy Gay to help push the pace for the Raptors offense.

On the season, Telfair is averaging 6.0 points, 2.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game.
