Texas A&M Aggies offensive tackle Luke Joeckel is the top prospect at his position in the 2013 NFL Draft class and believed by many to be one of the top three overall players. On Saturday, Joeckel participated in on-field drills with the rest of the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine offensive linemen participants in an effort to showcase his quickness.
Here is video of Joeckel’s first 40-yard dash attempt:
Joeckel’s two unofficial 40 times were 5.22, 5.35.
Of course, long speed is not important to offensive linemen, but NFL scouts will pay attention to their ten-yard splits. Luckily for Joeckel, his ten-yard split times were among the best of his position group.
There is a very good chance that the Kansas City Chiefs will be making Joeckel the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, so make sure to watch all of the videos on him that you can so you are educated and familiar with him and you can impresse your fans on draft day.
