Chicago Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb is in some hot water after being arrested on a drug charges over the weekend, per KFVS in Chicago. The report states Webb was arrested in Pulaski County, Illinois on Sunday for possession of controlled substance, cannabis & paraphernalia.
Webb’s bail was set at $5,000 and he was released after paying $500. His court date is set for March.
The Bears are aware of Webb’s arrest and are ”continuing to look into the facts surrounding the situation.”
He is set to become a free agent following the 2013 season. Webb entered the league as a seventh-round pick and is set to make $1.323 million this year.
