In the game between the Indiana Pacers and Golden State Warriors, and altercation between Warrior’s David Lee and Pacer’s Roy Hibbert led to a shoving match which involved both teams getting involved.

If you look at the video closely, David Lee appears to have gotten rough with Hibbert, shoving him first. After a review, the NBA has suspended Lee for one game. He will miss the game tonight against the New York Knicks, Sam Amick of USA Today writes. David Lee will try to appeal the suspension, however he will miss the game tonight nonetheless.

As for Roy Hibbert, he spoke to the league directly, and apologized for the incident, the NBA had no remorse, also suspending him for one game.

Warriors’ Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were not suspended for their role in the altercation however, they were fined $35,000 each. As well, Pacers’ Lance Stephenson was fined $35,000 for his role.

Personally, I agree with the NBA’s decision to suspended both Roy Hibbert and David Lee however, I don’t agree with them not suspending Stephen Curry for his role. Curry clearly went after Hibbert and keep instigating the incident pushing Hibbert further and further back into the corner.
