The United States under-20 men’s national team has qualified for the World Cup in Turkey after failing to qualify in their last attempt. The team clinched their berth in the World Cup after a 4-3 win over Canada in the CONCACAF qualifying tournament in Mexico.
The Yankees attack was led by MLS stars Jose Villarreal of the LA Galaxy and Luis Gil of Real Salt Lake.
It was a big step for Tab Ramos’ squad who will be looking for redemption during their outing in Turkey.
