Andrew Bynum has been a complete and utter disappointment for the Philadelphia 76ers this season and has yet to play a single minute on the court. There were some hopes that Bynum could return before the end of the season, but the latest news from team general manager Tony DiLeo is not very positive.

Per DiLeo, Bynum is considering arthroscopic knee surgery.

That is never a good sign when a 25-year-old big man is debating undergoing yet another procedure on his injured knee.

If Bynum decides to go under the knife again, he will be shut down for the season.

Bynum is set to become an unrestricted free agent following the season, but it doesn’t look like he will get the big contract that he seeking. When you are 25 with knee troubles and haven’t seen the court in a year, don’t expect the attention you are hoping for on the open market.
