The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had previously stated that they planned to make defensive tackle Roy Miller an offseason priority, but with free agency set to open on March12, all signs point to Miller hitting the open market in a surprising move.

According to NFL Network and NFL.com report Ian Rapoport, Miller will in fact test the free agency waters.

“This is a little surprising. #Bucs DT Roy Miller is set to test free agency. Had heard he was a priority for TB. Thought they’d ante up,” Rapoport wrote on Twitter.

A player like Miller will surely generate interest on the free agent market.
