The San Diego Chargers have a ton of holes to fill in free agency. At the top of the priority list, the Chargers need to get any help for Philip Rivers on the offensive side of the ball. First, the Chargers need to get help up front.

A left tackle should be top priority for the team, but we may look to fill that hole through the draft. Jared Gaither has been faking injuries for too long and will probably get kicked to the street. We also need to pick up a starting left guard. Tyronne Green was a disappointment as a starter and we need to find someone new to take the reigns there.

Staring right guard Louis Vasquez is a free agent and needs to be re-signed. After fixing the offensive front, the Chargers need to get another running back to pair up with fragile Ryan Mathews. Mathews could be a star, but he can”t hold onto the rock and he keeps getting injured. He is our China doll.

On defense, the Chargers have both starting corners, Antoine Cason and Quentin Jammer, entering free agency.

The Chargers need to bring at least one of them back. Sack leader Shaun Phillips is a free agent and will likely be allowed to jump onto another squad. Aubrayo Franklin was a big time player for the team last season and it would be nice to get him back for a few more seasons. There is a lot of holes to fill and not a lot of money to go around.
