Wladimir Klitschko to Put Heavyweight Titles on the Line Against Francesco Pianeta May 4

Heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko is set to re-enter the ring and put his heavyweight titles on the line against challenger Francesco Pianeta. According to Klitschko’s management team, the fight will take place on May 4 in Mannhein, Germany.

In an interesting twist to this title fight Klitschko and Pianeta are former sparring partners.

Klitscho, 59-3 with 51 KOs, is currently the  IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight champ. Pianeta is 28-0-1, with 15 KOs and could be a dangerous opponent for the champion because of his familiarity with Klitschko’s style.
