Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman joined Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on ESPN First Take this afternoon and the result was glorious. Bayless has become more of a hack as his time with the worldwide leader continues and people have been dying to call Bayless out and put him in his place for his radical opinions that are often generated just to gain publicity.
We can all hate Skip all we want, but sadly, it works.
This latest appearance with Sherman has accomplished the same goal.
Sherman appeared on the debate show and went on to rip Bayless a new one. Not only is Sherman one of the best cornerbacks in the league, but he is one of the best trash-talkers and that was on display when he laid into Bayless.
The All-Pro Stanford grad ripped into Bayless for his lack of credentials, ignorance and his failures in his field. Yeah, Sherman made it personal, but it was entertaining to watch.
Here is video of the exchange between Sherman and Bayless:
Whether or not you agree that Sherman is one of the best cornerbacks in the league, you have to admit that he can talk smack with the best of him and it was beautiful to see Bayless put in his place. The only negative to come from the appearance is that Skip’s name is now back in the headlines.
