Free agent tight end Martellus Bennett isn’t feeling the love from the New York Giants, but he could soon see some teams come calling. According to TitansInsider.com, the Tennessee Titans have some interest in Bennett. Martellus’ brother, Michael, is also receiving some interest from the Titans, who are in need of a pass rusher.

When the Titans decided not to use the franchise tag on Jared Cook, the need at tight end became obvious. There are some reports that Cook could receive a contract that makes him the highest paid tight end in the league, so that could leave Tennessee looking at their options.
The Titans have Taylor Thompson, a player that they are very high on, at tight end, but the opportunity to add a player like Bennett at the position could be a smart move for the team if he comes at an affordable price.
