The Cleveland Browns let it be known that Baltimore Ravens free agent linebacker Paul Kruger was one of their top priorities in the 2013 NFL free agency market and they wasted no time locking up the former division rival once the new league year began.
Here is the report:
Browns sign Ravens OLB Paul Kruger to a reported five-year, $40 million deal.

Kruger has just 15.5 career sacks, but will likely see his production increase lining up opposite Jabaal Sheard. With new defensive coordinator Ray Horton planning to install an aggressive blitzing attack, Kruger is perfectly set up for a breakout year.
The Browns acquisition of Kruger adds another interesting wrinkle to the Cleveland rivalry with the Baltimore Ravens.
Kruger was a second-round pick out of the University of Utah in 2009.
