The Tennessee Titans could be losing their No. 1 tight end, so they have gone out and found a replacement. The team has reached a deal with former San Francisco 49ers tight end Delanie Walker, per a number of reports.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report the news:

The signing of Walker all but guarantees Jared Cook will not be returning to the team, although that fate was practically sealed when the team chose not to use the franchise tag on Cook.

Walker has 123 receptions, 1,465 yards and eight touchdowns since joining the league as a fifth-round pick in 2006. He had started to come into his own in San Francisco and will now look to continue his success with the Titans.
