The top interior offensive lineman on the free agent market has already found a home. The Tennessee Titans have signed offensive guard Andy Levitre from the Buffalo Bills to a five-year, $39 million deal, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Levitre was highly coveted around the league, so the Titans needed to move fast to ensure they locked him up.
The Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers were also interested.
Levitre was drafted by the Bills in the second-round of the 2009 NFL Draft and has started in all 64 games that he has appeared in.
Tennessee gets some much needed interior line help and Levitre is an immediate replacement for Steve Hutchinson at left guard. Both Hutchinson and fellow guard Eugene Amano are candidates to be released.
Levitre was the Titans top target and they should be happy that they locked him up before another team could swoop in.
