The Detroit Lions have been incredibly active during the second day of the free agency period with the signings of running back Reggie Bush and defensive lineman Jason Jones. The team also re-signed their best cover cornerback from a year ago Chris Houston, but they weren’t done upgrading their defensive backfield just yet.
The latest signing for the Lions is former Houston Texans safety Glover Quin.
Quin was one of the three free agents who came to the Motor City to visit on Wednesday, and none of the players left without a new deal.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Detroit’s haul continues: Former Texans S Glover Quin reached agreement with the Lions.

Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
By adding Houston and Quin early in the free agency period, the Lions are on the right track towards improving their awful secondary.
