With NFL teams plugging holes on the roster through free agency, we are starting to get a better understanding of what direction teams will look in the 2013 NFL Draft. One of the teams getting an early start on lining up visits is the Tennessee Titans, who have scheduled a meeting with former LSU Tigers defensive end Barkevious Mingo, who is appearing to be more and more of a top ten lock.
Tennessee needs to add a dynamic pass rusher and there aren’t many better options available in this year’s draft class than Mingo.
Mingo has a rare combination of size and speed and has incredible upside. His untapped potential has NFL general managers and scouts excited about the level of play he could take his game to in the NFL.
Unfortunately for the Titans, Mingo may not be on the board when they are on the clock at No. 10. Mingo is rising up draft boards and there are plenty of potential suitors that are set to make their pick before Tennessee.
Tennessee has also scheduled a private workout with Kent State interior lineman Brian Winters.
