The Maryland Terrapins advanced to the semifinals of the ACC tournament with a win over No. 2 seed Duke on Friday. Maryland was led by a 30-point performance from  Dez Wells, while Duke struggled on offense. The Terrapins led from start to finish and ended up holding on to the win by a 83-74 score.

Maryland is now set up to face the winner of North Carolina vs. Florida State on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Duke is still set to be a No. 1 seed in the 2013 NCAA tournament. The question is now, which No. 1 seed will the team be and what region will they occupy. Those questions will be answered on Sunday night.

For now, Maryland will look to keep the momentum rolling when they take the court in the semis and fight for a championship berth and victory to earn an automatic bid.
