The move has finally been made official. After a lot of speculation that the Arizona Cardinals would be moving on from Kevin Kolb and reports that he would be released today, the Cardinals have finally decided to put Kolb out of his misery. As of noon ET on Friday, Kevin Kolb is no longer a member of the Cardinals.

Per Jason La Canfora:

Now that Kolb is on the open market, look for a market to develop for his services. The Jets have been named as a potential suitor for the former Cardinals back up and the decision would benefit the team.

Your move, New York Jets.
