Brent Grimes Visits Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have continued their wild spending in free agency with another signing, but this time it came in at a more reasonable deal. With the team ignoring the cornerback positions early on in the open market, they have finally directed their attention to the defensive back and made an addition.

According to reports, former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Brent Grimes is heading to South Beach.

Per Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post:

The addition of Grimes would get the team one step closer to filling out the roster will talented players all around. With one cornerback position locked up by Grimes, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Miami look at a cornerback like Florida State’s Xavier Rhodes with the first pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

There has been rumored interest in Rhodes from the Dolphins, and he is would fill one of their final glaring needs.
