The Miami Dolphins have been focused on adding weapons to the offense for Ryan Tannehill as he looks to avoid a sophomore slump and take positive strides in the offense and they have been doing just that in free agency. It all started when they added the deep threat that their offense needed in Mike Wallace, as overpaid as he may have been it was a signing that needed to be made, and now they have signed a versatile tight end in Dustin Keller that can provide a reliable safety blanket for Tannehill.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Former Jets TE Dustin Keller reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Keller has shown flashes of brilliance in the past, but has never had the opportunity to fully live up to his potential because of the poor quarterback play in New York.
It will be interesting to see what Keller can do with an actual quarterback running the show.
