The New England Patriots hosted a trio of veteran free agents — safety Adrian Wilson and pass rushers John Abraham and Dwight Freeney — and one of those trusty vets has struck a deal with the AFC East kings. New England was able to lock up longtime Arizona Cardinals safety and captain Adrian Wilson in a move that will bring some veteran leadership and talent to their secondary.
According to Wilson’s agent Tory Dandy:

Wilson has been with the Cardinals since joining the league as a third-round pick back in 2001.
Throughout his career, Wilson has racked up 887 tackles, 27 interceptions, 25.5 sacks and 14 forced fumbles. His presence in the New England defensive backfield will automatically give the team a boost in production and talent.
