The UCLA Bruins advanced to the Pac-12 tournament championship at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday night when they were able to edge out the Arizona Wildcats, 66-64, in the semifinals. Unfortunately for the Bruins, their celebration was shortened by the horrible news that guard Jordan Adams will miss the remainder of the season with a broken foot.

“It’s tough,” Adams told CBS Sports after confirming his broken foot. “But things happen in life and you’ve got to deal with it.”

Adams suffered the injury on the final play of the game, while defending the potential game winner from Arizona’s Solomon Hill. Adams finished the game with a game-high 24 points.

UCLA is set to face the winner of Oregon and surprise team Utah to determine the Pac-12 tournament champion on Saturday evening. At the time of this post, Oregon was leading Utah, 29-15, at the half.
