Pac-12 Tournament Results 2013: Oregon Earns Conference's Automatic Bid

The Oregon Ducks used their perimeter shooting to put away the UCLA Bruins in the final of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament late Saturday night. With the win, Oregon secures their spot in the 2013 NCAA tournament field. Oregon pulled away with a strong second half showing on way to a 78-69 victory at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Despite the loss, UCLA’s season will still continue in the big dance.

When the tournament field is announced on Sunday evening, expect the Bruins to come in around a No. 9 seed, while the Pac-12 champion Ducks are seeded slightly higher at a No. 7 or No. 8 slot.

The complete field of tournament participants will be announced on Selection Sunday less than twenty four hours from now.
