With former Denver Broncos pass rusher Elvis Dumervil on the free agent market after a series of unfortunate circumstances led to his release from the team, there are a number of teams expressing their interest. Earlier today, reports surfaced that the Baltimore Ravens were interested in Dumervil and the New Orleans Saints have also been mentioned as a possibility.

Now, another team is throwing their hat in the mix. The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for outside linebackers in their 3-4 defense and Dumervil could be just what the doctor ordered.

Per Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun:

If the Steelers were looking for a replacement for James Harrison, it wouldn’t get much better than Dumervil, who ironically enough wears Harrison’s former No. 92 jersey.

There are also reports that the Steelers could have interest in free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who would be a brilliant compliment to Jonathan Dwyer.
