Calgary Flames Looking to Trade Cory Sarich, Anton Babchuk

While names like Dan Boyle and Jarome Iginla are the names you will see circling in rumors the most leading up to the NHL Trade Deadline, the Calgary Flames want you to know that there are a couple other players on their roster that they are actively shopping. There are no blockbuster names, but Flames general manager Jay Feaster wanted to let teams know that Cory Sarich and Anton Babchuk were available if you want them.

Per Sportsnet:

Neither player will attract a big market, but at least the Flames are making an effort. Babchuk has only appeared in two games this season, while Sarich has made an appearance in 11. It is important to note that the “NTC” in the above tweet stands for no trade clause, so the players would need to agree to a trade if anyone wanted them.

On the Iginla front, the Flames are looking for at least two prospects in return.
