Elite 8 2013: Ohio State Buckeyes Edge Arizona, 73-70, to Advance to Final Eight

The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to dance. After a Sweet 16 match up that went down to the wire, the Buckeyes were able to edge the Arizona Wildcats, 73-70, to advance to the Elite 8. Ohio State was able to rally from an 11-point deficit to earn the victory. With one more win, Ohio State will reach their second-straight Final Four.

Buckeyes guard Aaron Craft, who hit the game-winner to advance to the Sweet 16, was able to kick the ball over to LaQuinton Ross for the go-ahead bucket.

Cold. Blooded.

Ross finished the game with 17 points, while Craft finished with a line of 15-points, five rebounds and five assists. DeShaun Thomas was the team’s leading scorer with 20 points.

Mark Lyons paced Arizona with 23 points.

In the Elite 8, Ohio State will face the winner of Wichita State and La Salle, which is set to tip off later this evening.
