The Sweet 16 kicked off Thursday evening as teams fought it out for a chance to continue their hopes of reaching the 2013 NCAA Tournament final. After four games, half of the Elite 8 has been determined and there were some upsets along the way.

The No. 2 seeded Miami Hurricanes and No. 1 seeded Indiana Hoosiers were ousted from the tournament thanks to strong efforts from Marquette and Syracuse, respectively. The two upsets give the East Region final a much different look than what was anticipated.

Duke takes on Michigan State in the second game in Indianapolis and the nation’s darling team Florida Gulf Coast takes on Florida in the night cap.

Who will complete the Elite 8? We will find out in a matter of hours.
