The Louisville Cardinals will continue to honor their injured teammate Kevin Ware who suffered a horrifying leg injury during the team’s Elite 8 win over Duke last week. Louisville has rallied behind their teammate and showed him support in every way imaginable.
Not only was Ware inspirational on the court that day as he was being taken off the court in a stretcher, he continues to provide the team with the motivation they need to move forward and play inspired basketball.
To continue honoring their teammate, the Cardinals will be wearing special warmups when they take the court against Wichita State in the Final Four matchup.
It’s a great gesture from the Cardinals as they continue to honor their injured teammate and use him as an inspiration moving forward in the tournament.

It’s hard not to rally behind this team after watching how they rose to the occasion after watching their teammate fall right in front of their bench.
Louisville will face off against Wichita State in the Final Four to determine who will advance to the championship game. While Wichita State is the lone Cinderella team remaining, Louisville is the nation’s favorite after the brilliant way they showcased their support for Ware.
When you see everything the team is doing to rally behind and support Ware, you understand why his first interview following the gruesome injury was so emotional.
