Photo: Virginia Tech Camouflage Helmet For Sept. 21 Game vs. Marshall

College football always brings some of the most interesting and innovative uniform combinations in the sports world and this season will prove to be no different. A number of teams have already unveiled their alternative looks for the upcoming season, and the Virginia Tech Hokies have become the most recent team to give us a look at their unique look that will take the field in 2013.

The latest look for the Hokies is a digital camouflaged helmet that features the school’s colors.

Virginia Tech will be sporting the new helmets on Military Appreciation Day against the Marshall Thundering Herd.

It’s a very interesting take on the traditional camouflage look, but it works.

The new helmets are a perfect way for the school to combine their colors with the digital camo that will honor the military members who deserve all of our respect. Instead of rolling with the traditional colors, Virginia Tech found a way to make the look unique to the university.
