Video: Louisville’s Kevin Ware Gives First Interview Since Horrific Injury

Ware was immediately surrounding by his sobbing teammates who rallied together and used their injured teammate as the inspiration to push through the adversity and storm by Duke to advance to the Final Four.

After the game, Louisville players and head coach Rick Pitino traveled to the hospital to be by Ware’s side and share their Midwest Regional championship with him.

It was a touching moment and the response by his Cardinals teammates was incredible.

Now, for the first time since his injury, Ware has conducted an on camera interview to talk about the injury and the overwhelming support that he has received throughout the process and early in his recovery.

It’s a great interview and very emotional.

We are rooting for Ware, along with the rest of the nation, as he recovers. We continue to wish him a full and speedy recovery and hope to see him grace the basketball court as soon as he is healthy enough to do just that.
