Free agent cornerback Antoine Winfield is one of the top available players on the open market and he continues to gain interest from around the league. The latest team to express their interest in the veteran defensive back is the Seattle Seahawks, despite having an incredible tandem at cornerback already with All-Pro Stanford grad Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner.
According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, Winfield is expected to visit the Pacific Northwest this week.

Winfield also has interest from the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings have expressed their interest in bringing him back, but Seattle provides the most intriguing option.
Personally, I would love to see Winfield sign with the Seattle Seahawks and play in the slot with Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner on the outside. When you add Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor, Seattle would have the toughest, most physical secondary in the league without question.
If you were a receiver lining up against that secondary, you better bring your hard hat because Seattle would be laying the lumber.
If the football gods are listening, find a way to make this move come to fruition. It would be an incredible signing and fit for the football fan in all of us.
