On Monday morning, the Buffalo Bills officially announced the signing of quarterback Kevin Kolb. The Bills haven’t been shy this offseason in making it very clear that they are looking to find their quarterback of the future, but many doubt that Kolb could be that guy.

However, Bills general manager Buddy Nix said shortly after Kolb’s official signing that Kolb could be a strong candidate to win the team’s starting gig in 2013.

Per NFL: Around the League:

While the team has signed Kolb, don’t be surprised if they still take a quarterback early in the draft.

There is a chance that West Virginia’s Geno Smith could fall to them at No. 8, but if he is off the board Matt Barkley could be an option. The Bills are reportedly not as high on Ryan Nassib as many had initially believed, but there is one name that continues to be connected to the team that Bills fans should keep an eye out on — North Carolina State’s Mike Glennon.
