The Cleveland Browns have added a new wide receiver to the mix. After looking at their options on the free agent market, the Browns have agreed to a deal with former Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Nelson. The deal was announced on Monday evening.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Nelson is a promising talent that tore his ACL in Week 1 of the 2012 season, but the good news for the Browns and their fans is that Nelson should be ready to go for the start of the upcoming season.

Nelson is a big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-5, 220-pounds, but the role that he will have in the Browns new offense has yet to be determined.

If Nelson is able to stay healthy, he could find a significant role and become a key contributor for the Browns as they look to add weapons for young signal-caller Brandon Weeden moving forward.
