The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in prospects for the 2013 NFL Draft for their pre-draft visits and one of those players happened to be Connecticut Huskies cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson. The former Huskies star lacks a lot of experience in the game, but he has the raw physical tools that have been exciting talent evaluators throughout the draft process.
Some believe that Wreh-Wilson could hear his name called in the bottom of round one, but it is more realistic to expect him off the board in the top half of round two.
Wreh-Wilson has incredible closing speed and has impressive measurements for his position. If he can fine tune his skills, Wreh-Wilson could develop into a star corner in the NFL. He will just need to land with a team that has a positions coach that can maximize Wreh-Wilson’s natural talent.
Wreh-Wilson will be traveling to visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next, and has previously gone on a visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He should be selected in the top 50 picks.
