South Carolina Gamecocks running back Marcus Lattimore is one of the players in the 2013 NFL Draft class that you just have to root for. Lattimore shredded his knee during his junior year at South Carolina, and many were questioning if he would ever play football again. Now, a few months later, Lattimore has already begun working out for scouts and showing off his skills.
Lattimore is continuing to show off his skills throughout the draft process, but this time he has decided to show off his intangibles during an appearance on John Gruden’s QB Camp.
The Gamecocks star is one of the only non-quarterbacks to take part in Gruden’s camp — joining Manti Te’o and Luke Joeckel — and the opportunity allows his personality to shine and let’s us all see why NFL scouts and general managers are falling in love with the guy.
With the way everything has gone for Lattimore in the draft process, there is a very good chance that he could be selected as early as the third-round.
He’s ready, he’s determined, and he is the kind of guy you want in your locker room. Lattimore will be able to help an NFL team on the field as soon as he returns to 100 percent.
